This program is an ongoing faith formation process (religious education) for families with children in grades K-6. Middle and high school programs are offered through our Youth Ministry Office.
The Church recognizes parents as the primary educators of their children. It is our responsibility as Church and community to help parents in this task. Therefore, we offer a family program for faith formation and sacramental preparation.

Which program best suits my family?
Age and grade-appropriate materials are available for use at home. Parents can choose from a lectionary-based magazine format curriculum (Pflaum Faith Formation Program) or a standard workbook format using a spiral learning process (Faith First from Liturgical Press Publications).
Once a month, we gather as families to learn more about various topics of faith. In the past, we have highlighted Saints, Advent, the Nativity, Lent, the parables and miracles of Jesus and many more. The format includes peer breakout sessions (parents, too!), hands-on learning, family activities, prayer, music, guest speakers and the secret ingredient - fun!
Children and parents alike have the opportunity to meet new friends and families and learn more about their faith. Sessions are held on Sunday mornings from 10:45am - 12:00pm.
Families are encouraged to attend Mass on a regular basis and will be invited to participate in occasional blessings and liturgical rites at Mass. Dates and times are included in the Family Catechesis calendar.
