Prayer and Meditation is what binds us - across cultures, territorial boundaries and denominations. All Christians experience God's presence with us, in us, and between us. This retreat will explore how we can deepen and celebrate that unity in Christ and how viewing and responding to world news and events through this lens gives visible expression to this deep communion.
The retreat will include:
Spiritual directors will be available to give retreatants an opportunity to share their faith journey in individual sessions.

Rev. Jan Olav Flaaten has served as the executive director of the AZ Ecumenical Council since September 2002 after 30 years of parish ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. His goals for the Council are to improve communication, expand ecumenical dialogue, provide education in ecumenism, and give voice to the Church’s witness for justice. |

Tom Ryan, CSP is head of the Paulist Office for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations. Prior to that he was director of the Montreal-based Canadian Centre for Ecumenism and of Unitas, an ecumenical center for spirituality and Christian meditation. He was educated at Washington Theological Union and the University of Geneva. |
