This retreat is designed for anyone experiencing grief over the death of a loved one. The retreat team provides a supportive setting, shares information about the grief process, and suggests ways to heal during the intense and painful period following a loved one’s death. Due to the nature of this retreat, we recommend overnight lodging. Sign up early, retreat limited to 20 people.
Spiritual directors will be available to give retreatants an opportunity to share their faith journey in individual sessions.
Retreat fee/per person including meals: $130.
Retreat fee/per person with lodging and all meals: $215 single; $165 double.
Check-in: Friday 5 pm; social 5:30 pm; dinner 6 pm.
Sheila Marchetta, MA, was formerly in private practice in Scottsdale and also facilitated support groups for cancer patients and their families at The Wellness Community of Central Arizona. Sheila is currently living in Durango, Colorado. She continues to co-facilitate the Grief and Loss Retreats at the CASA and works with cancer patients and grief groups in Colorado.

Mauro Pando, MC, previously Director of Counseling Ministry at the Franciscan Renewal Center, recently retired as Director of the Wellness Community of Central Arizona. He is also a spiritual director.
Tim Ringgold is a Board Certified Music Therapist from Orange, CA. He provides music therapy services to special needs chil- dren, mental health patients, the elderly, and many others.
