These symptoms of trauma occur when pain becomes overwhelming. The door then is opened for addictions, habits and other symptoms of dysfunction that cause further pain and shame often ending in personal crisis. “Trauma
is not a life sentence,” wrote Peter Levine. This workshop is for those who are on the path to healing or who are seeking a safe environment to begin the journey.
Fee: $75 includes lunch
Ruth Baker has been a spiritual director for the past 10 years. She holds a Master’s in Psychotherapy and Counseling from City Uni- versity of London as well as a BS in Human Resources and Applied Behavioral Science and an Associate’s Degree in Addictions Counseling.
Kristi Kleban, MS, LMFT has been a Licensed Marriage and Fam- ily Therapist for over 25 years. She has worked in private practice, for non-profit organizations, and as a university instructor. Kristi has been actively involved in the recovery community for over 10 years.
