A Social Justice Look at Mexico: Poverty and Violence We Are All in This Together

Do you ever feel helpless and hopeless about the state of affairs in Mexico? What happens in Mexico does affect us here in Arizona. Do you want to find a way to connect with and support your brothers and sister across the border? Join the Faith in Action ministry as we welcome representatives from Catholic Relief Services, Frontera de Cristo - Cafe? Justo and Kino Border Initiatives and wrestle with what it means to be in solidarity with the people of Mexico. At this one day workshop, you will learn from those who know the situation and are able to share their expertise on life in Mexico.
In addition, representatives of organizations who are taking action within Mexico will be here to share how you can put your compassion into action.
Fee per person: $55 includes lunch Scholarships available.
