Featuring the Casa Choir and Musicians
On the first day of the week, Jesus arose from the dead. While no one actu- ally saw that event, many had experiences of Him after He rose. And, like His friends, we are all called to be witnesses of this central faith event: The Resurrection.
Remembering the passion and death of Jesus is powerfully moving for us. (During Lent, the Stations of the Cross are familiar and popular — and each year, on Good Friday, the Casa community presents a powerful experience of the Stations of the Cross.) We learn to “take up the cross” with Jesus ... who teaches us and accompanies us through the challenges of daily life, some- times extreme challenges. And yet, it is the passion, death and resurrection which are the pattern for our living.
Similar to the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday, “the Stations of the Resurrection” reflect upon experiences of the Risen Lord from Easter morn- ing to Pentecost, highlighting the continuing presence of the Risen Lord, as we recognize His guidance and leadership through the events of our living, sometimes in the simplest moments.
May walking the “Way of Light” make us fearless light-bearers in the world.
Free-will offering. No registration is necessary.
