Information On Sacraments
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)
This sacrament is available by appointment with a priest. Communal services of reconciliation are celebrated in the seasons of Advent and Lent.
Sacrament of Marriage
Couples wishing to be married at the Church of Our Lady of the Angels at The Franciscan Renewal Center must schedule an interview with one of our priests at least 6 months in advance of the desired Wedding date.
Anointing of the Sick
Members of our community who are ill and would like to receive the Anointing of the Sick, please call the Casa Front Desk and ask to speak to one of the priests. It is best to call at the beginning of a serious illness or when surgery is first scheduled.
Communion to the Sick and Homebound
Members of our community who are ill, or otherwise unable to attend Mass and would like to receive Holy Communion, please call the Casa Front Desk. Ministers of Care are commissioned to bring Eucharist to members of this community who are unable to attend Sunday liturgy because of sickness, disability or aging. These Lay Ministers provide fellowship, prayer and an opportunity to share in Holy Communion.
First Communion, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation
A program of Sacramental preparation for children is in development for members of the Church of Our Lady of the Angels. However, for the 2007-2008 school year, we recommend that families with children participate in the sacramental preparation program in their local parish.
