Family Catechesis: Director's Corner
Welcome to Family Catechesis and Sacramental Preparation!
It is with great joy that we offer these programs to our families at Our Lady of the Angels. On our website, you can find information on religious education for families, sacramental preparation for children and adults, plus details on infant baptism. All of our programs are offered in the spirit of St. Francis - "to follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and to walk in his footsteps." (Regla Primitiva)
My experience with catechetical ministries spans 14 years in California and Arizona. During this time, I have worked with family catechesis, sacrament preparation, RCIA for both adults and children and assisted with youth ministry. I have even parented four boys and lived to tell the tale!
These experiences have given me a great love and compassion for families as they strive to raise their children as disciples of Christ. My goal is to bring my experience, knowledge, love and compassion to all our families at the Casa. That includes the secret ingredient of catechesis - fun!
