Your Generosity.
Our Sacred Trust.

Franciscan Renewal Center Donor Bill of Rights

At the Franciscan Renewal Center, generosity is more than a financial transaction—it is an expression of faith, trust, and partnership in our mission of renewing lives through spiritual growth, healing and transformation, and service to others.

Rooted in the Franciscan spirit of gratitude, respect, simplicity, and care for one another, we believe every donor deserves to be treated with dignity and integrity.

As a donor to the Casa, you have the right:

  1. To understand our mission and your impact.
You have the right to know how your generosity advances the mission of the Franciscan Renewal Center and how donated resources are used.

  2. To have your gift honored.
Your contribution will be used faithfully and responsibly for the purpose for which it was given.

  3. To responsible stewardship and transparency.
You may request information about the Casa’s leadership, financial practices, and stewardship of charitable resources.

  4. To gratitude and appropriate acknowledgment.
Every gift, regardless of size, is valued. You have the right to timely acknowledgment and recognition consistent with your wishes.

  5. To privacy and confidentiality.
Your personal, financial, and giving information will be treated as confidential and protected with care. The Franciscan Renewal Center does not sell, rent, exchange, or share donor information with organizations or individuals outside the Franciscan Renewal Center, except when required by law or when necessary to process or administer your gift through trusted service providers acting on the Casa’s behalf.

  6. To choose how you are recognized and contacted.
You may request anonymity, change your communication preferences, or ask the Casa to limit future fundraising communications at any time.

  7. To respectful and ethical relationships.
You have the right to professional, honest, compassionate, and respectful interactions with staff, friars, volunteers, and others representing the Franciscan Renewal Center.

  8. To know who is asking for your support.
You may ask whether someone seeking a gift on behalf of the Casa is an employee, friar, volunteer, consultant, or other authorized representative.

  9. To make your gift freely.
Giving is always voluntary. You should never feel pressured or obligated to make or increase a charitable contribution.

  10. To ask questions and receive honest answers.
We welcome your questions about giving, stewardship, privacy, or the use of your gift and will respond truthfully and respectfully.

Our Promise

Your generosity is a sacred trust. We are committed to honoring your intentions, protecting your privacy, stewarding your gifts responsibly, and treating you with the gratitude and respect that reflect the Franciscan values of the Casa.
